Ebie is paving the way for a modern security solution for landlords and renters. We replace the traditional deposit with an insurance solution. For renters, the deposit can financially be very harmful. The design of a deposit is inherently poor. We quickly realized that there is no need for a deposit at all. We replaced the security component with an insurance policy, it protects the landlord and brings fair conditions to the renter.
