Background The 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi is unfortunately known for a huge doping scandal, creating a debate on how to increase the secure chain of custody within in the anti-doping industry. Validicity AB was initiated by the Arne Ljungqvist Foundation to actively combat anti-doping in human sports, by developing a new hardware solution combined with a blockchain-based system creating a secure supply chain (https://www.arneljungqvist.com/).
